God and Family: The Relational Nature of God
Part 1 of the series, God, Family, and Community, this hour-long video lecture shares Dr. John D. Garr's insights on how the relationality of God impacts the relationality of humanity. As Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the very essence of God is pure relationality that is manifest in coequality, consubstantiality, and coeternity wherein the Divine Persons mutually encircle and interpenetrate one another in one divine being of Spirit substance. This is the mystery of Deity, the divine unity (echad) of God wherein three are one. With a clear understanding of the relationality of God, one can proceed to insight of the proper relationality of human beings, first in marriage and family and the in the community of faith. This presentation will dramatically increase your insight and personal relationship with God, with your family, and with your religious community.

God and Humanity: In His Image and Likeness
Part 2 of the series, God, Family, and Community, this hour-long video lecture shares Dr. John D. Garr's insights on ways in which the human creation in the beginning was designed to image God in the earth. God created ha-Adam (the human) from ha-adamah (the dirt), one being that was later manifest in two gender-specific entities, Adam and Eve. Together Adam and Eve reflected the "image and likeness" of God, for they were absolutely coequal (like Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), completely consubstantial (made of exactly the same substance), and co-mortal (yet with the same opportunity of partaking of the Tree of Life and becoming co-immortal). God, therefore, is imaged in humanity in the context of family and community. The community of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is imaged in the community of Adam and Eve.
