Dr. John D. Garr has served the international Christian community for more than 60 years as theologian, educator, author, editor, publisher, ordained minister, and executive presbyter. For some 35 years since he founded it, he has served as president of Hebraic Christian Global Community, an Atlanta-based international, multiethnic, and transdenominational networking organization that focuses on publishing and education. Some 25 years ago, he led a team of educators and business leaders in the founding Hebraic Christian College, which he has served since that time as Chancellor and CEO.
Dr. Garr has devoted his career to equipping Christians with insights into the historical and theological truth of Christianity’s Hebrew foundations and Jewish roots, to facilitating unity in the international body of the Messiah, and to promoting rapprochement between the internal Christian and Jewish communities. Dr. Garr’s academic credentials include a Masters of Theology (summa cum laude), a Doctor of Philosophy in Church Administration, and a Doctor of Theology in Hebraic-Christian Studies from Evangelical Theological Seminary.
