The festival of Shavuot (Pentecost) is the annual time for celebrating the giving of the Word of God in the form of the Torah at Mt. Sinai and the giving of the Holy Spirit at Mt. Zion. This was the time of the birth of the church at Sinai and its rebirth at Zion.
