Shalom

"Rejoice with Jerusalem ... I will extend Shalom to her like a river" (Isaiah 48:10, 18).

Shalom is one of the most powerful words in the Hebrew language. Most simply, it means “peace”; however, its overall meaning is far more than simply an absence of conflict or warfare. Shalom means health and security. It means completeness, soundness, tranquility, and contentment. It means harmony and quietness. It means success and prosperity, personal integrity and honesty. In reality shalom means that everything is exactly as God designed it to be.
